Hi Guys
Welcome to the new forum.
You should have read that due to corrupt files on the old forum, the information was not imported into this one. That means we have a clean slate to work with, but no continuation with threads from the old forum.
To over come this I have placed a link on the main forum page which returns you to the old forum to refer to information and photos. Please note you should not be able to post to that forum anymore. If you can, then dont bother as you wont get a reply.
Yes there is no shout box at this stage. I am learning the new software so it may take a little time to integrate some new features into this forum.
Once the newest version of this forum has been released, there will be options for members blogs and members pages so I believe that there is certain advantages to migrating to this software even though we have to use the old forum as a reference.
Hope you all enjoy this new home, start populating the various topics and of course if you have any problems, its Dougs fault. But you can still contact Barry, Pete or myself and we will check the 'Care Factor Meter' and see if we can help yas out somehow.

i'm guessing 4062 was the post count before the server had a meltdown with all those posts.

Hi All,
My name is Jan and I enjoy pole dancing and like Chin, walks along the beach when the moon is full. My favourite colour is blue and chicks dig me (although my wife thinks I'm just an idiot). I have a tendancy to go overboard when planning modifications to my Poly but the medications have kicked in now and I have stopped all of that. I do plan on puting a new LCD screen and X-box in the boat as soon as my current script runs out though. I hope you all welcome me with open arms as I don't take rejection well.

Yes Tim it is and as Barry says waiting for v4 to be released which will give us blogs and personal type home (brag) pages. But unlike Ausfish, its not gunna be full of ads!
I am going to make some changes as soon as I can work out how to edit the menu bar at the top to change one link and add another

Thanks to all for the comments but at the end of the day it was only the purchase and install of the new forum software. It hasnt quite provided what I thought it would but its a huge learning curve for the new software so as time goes on and the brain kicks in, the site will improve.

Not counting this one, there have been 113 posts made; 26 of them by You-Know-Who. That's exactly 23%. Guess he's going for a record again.
Maybe, any post he makes with a spilling mistake or a misplaced apostrophe shouldn't count? That might slow him down a bit?

Hey Pete,the site seems to being going great guns.I have been scarce of late as the big phone company cannot provide me with a land line till late Feb 2010.Got a dongle for internet but slow as dialup was (agro).On another puda at the moment.
