This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan, Taliban Minister of immigration, Mohammed Omar, warned Australia that if military action against Iraq and Afghanistan continues, Taliban authorities will cut off Australia's supply of convenience store managers.
And if this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Telstra customer service reps, dole office workers and Queensland doctors.
It's going to get ugly folks...

Very funny Giffo, my doctor is not from Pakistan or Afghanistan but from the Middle East so he will not apply. Some forum members may know him, he is at the Ningi clinic. Don’t know his name, probably Stefan or something like that.
His English is terrible but I must say one thing in his favor. When I first moved up here from Brisbane and saw him for the first time, he instantly picked two skin cancers on my face. Something my old Australian doctor never noticed.
He referred me to a skin specialist who cut them out.
All immigrants who have good English speaking skills get to stay in the civilized cities Giffo. Maybe you need to learn a second language hahahaha.
Even better,we are moving back to Gold Coast or Northern NSW !

thats a interesting take on it BF, i never thought we would come across that way. being a queenslander i always took that as having a meaning more like 'up for a challenge.' and as far as footy goes it has to be expected that both sides will do a bit of ribbing right? :)

very true McGyver, always up for the challenge but I have worked for a couple of Qld based companies and they are a unique breed that's for sure.
In some Qlder's eyes no one does it bigger, no one does it better and no one does it faster!

Thanks for the money DvrDve. I didn’t have any flooding problems, so spent mine on beer. Not your rubbishy Qld beer but Becks, a real German beer, made by people who know how to make it and know how to drink it.
Its good to see that NSW has broken the drought and made the state of origin an interesting confrontation again. I’m a Queensland supporter (or wanker if you prefer chin) and winning all the time was getting very boring. Looking forward to the decider.

Yes I know DvrDve, it is brewed and bottled by Lion Nathan in Sydney under license from Becks. There is also a Dutch beer brewed here which I like.
In my old hometown of Newcastle, (The one that built a new castle in 1080 chin) Fosters Lager is a very popular beer. Brewed locally for sure but unmistakable.
They also built a new castle here Frank, but unfortunately Giffo's ancestors were on duty at the fire station the night it burned to the ground.
There is a group pushing to rename it No-Castle, but it's feared the locals will get confused and lost.
