What's Rain? We have had none whatsoever and that can be a bugger when you are on tank water. I'm lucky that I have a natural Spring down the bottom of my block but even that is getting right down to a slow trickle. It has been months since we had anything that would put water in the tanks. There have been lots of isolated showers forecast over the last week but they all seem to be missing Airlie. The weather has been fairly calm here but is forecast to pick up to 15-20kts mid week and drop off again towards the weekend. I can feel a REEF TRIP coming on.
LOL pissing down here ATM, Weds on looks ok for outside Fishing through to the weekend!
Typical weather for around here with the annual rainfall at 2000+ ml this year!

Tweed Heads has been raining non stop for the last 12 hours. Have not seen this much rain in a long time.
No fishing today
Raining here in Hervey Bay been on and off for the last 4 or 5 days, I hope it breaks for a bit now I can get out for a fish, if not I'll go anyway. (pirate)

I cant get over the lack of rain this year. It rained for a couple of days when I got back from holidays, but nothing since, the grass has gone brown again.
So much for the wet season.

Believe it or not --- no wind, no rain, no clouds and constant sunshine!! Yes I am describing the weather in Tassie, unfortunately, the Pirate is sleeping enjoying his break, so the fishing is not happening!!!!!!!!!!!!(But he is using his new toy on the river with the orphan, that means lots of reading time for me!)

had some beaut mornings here that allowed fishing over the last two days and averaging around 38-40 degrees. Full moon looming and neap tides has meant the fishing has been slow. only got two snapper in the boat yesterday, caught HEAPS of undersize snapper anda few u/s coral trouts as well, GPS marked and i'm coming back in 6 months :)

As Bruce says, weather is beautiful. Went out yesterday, fished wide for 3hrs, got 1 chinaman.Came in close to shore and boated over 40 fish, including 4 coral troat over 6kg. Rest were cod and saddle tail snapper. Kept bag limit and just kept on recycling the others.
All up, a top day.
John
Water spouts today, with a 15knot breeze. Very odd weather in moreton bay, reminds me of what it was like as a kid.
