You all now the drills post list and Pics with your new toys, just remember its a family site , (Mankini suits) are not suitable Pete.

Oh yer i would post pics but brother has my Camera, I dropped him and wife off today at Airport 0500 dark hours as he has a Fire works display to do at Nullanboy near Gove.

He promised me they will not to do any fishing until he returns "I do trust him".

Xmas present was a Bar fridge, that came with a home made bar 8 ft long two 1/2 foot wide (twin level) by 3 1/2 foot high. Has tin around front with roof and storage section above. Took us four days and just a few stubbies.
This was going to be a old roller top desk he made many years ago when he did his apprenticeship as a chippy. Promised Mrs Bones as a wedding gift.
Like my fishing all talk and no action so happy xmas Bones only 23 years late.

But best of all built with my brother great fun and had heaps of suggestions for pot plant holders candles and cushions from the girls while they sat at or in the pool watching and getting drinks given to them from to old smelly tradies, what a bonus they got:).

Will post pics on his return hope to see heaps of member with the new toys on this post.

Cheers Bones

Santa has treated me to some treats from BCF this year again, got a brag mat, gimble belt, lure pouches, a roll up bag for the 4 pushers i now own and a diasy chain teaser all ready for the sailfish this winter coming. Also a new watch and i ordered a Canon EOS 500D DSLR with twin lens kit today on sale for a beltaed gift for me and the mrs.

Simpson jr enjoyed her first chrissy with plenty of noisy toys, my tolerance for them is wearing thin and batteries will be removed if needed, i don't need my 20/20 big bash eatching interuppted.

Merry xmas to all

I have been plotting this with Santa for a while.....
We have been in this house for over 14 months now, and my wife agreed we bought on the condition that I could eventually build a shed, because it had nothing for the boat and all my junk. Couldn't be in the backyard, as that is for the kids and the pool. So, after cutting down 10 tonnes of palms and carting them to the tip , lots of frustration with council and shed companies, it was finished a week before Xmas......
Bit tidier now, most of the junk off the floor on shelving, Inlaws bought me a big shelving unit from Bunnings, boat and car fit in if required, all I need now is power and lights.
Secret Santa came up with some cash too, so a new baitcaster reel is on the way too!
I am very lucky!!!

The shed looks good pedro. I take it there is a rolla door in either end.

Yep, roller door at either end so I can still put box trailer in back yard, gives a bit of flow through ventilation as well.

Thats a top idea. the number of places that you cant get any thing into the back yard . . . . . . . . .

VERY nice Pedro.. and now you also have somewhere to sleep out of the weather when you are in trouble with the boss of the house!

I agree Pete, too many houses designed by metrosexuals who wouldnt know a bandaid from a bandsaw and dont provide access to the backyard for REAL mens toys!

WOW Giffo, that looks like a whole load of fun :D

Polyphonic thats one HUGE looking anchor. You will have to do a write up for us on that winch. I have seen them advertised before but didnt know anyone who actually owns one so let us know how good they are please

I think that a mower like that would make my shed look even more impressive ( well, to me anyway)
I want a go........
Is that a zero turn mower ( I think that is the expression, turns on its own diameter roughly? )
Congrats

Yep,zero turn is the name for them.I just come in from mowing the lawn and it is like driving a dodgem car, heaps of fun. Both my brothers have the same mower and have had no trouble in 5 yrs, they are built like the brick sh!thouses (the mowers that is).

Will do Dave I'm pretty excited about it, i have been scouting around for some time and the stress free winch has gotten good reviews. As for the anchor it's a Sarca and reviews have been a bit mixed so that might be an expensive lesson' will have to wait and see.
Thanks Polyphonic

There seems to be a big debate about the Sarca anchors. Some people swear they are the best & others just swear about them.

From my experience when diving its the chain not the anchor that does the work. I would always go for more chain than less if you have problems anchoring.

Thanks for that advice Pete' have been getting similar stories from other sites/posts so will have to see how it performs (if weather conditions are ever favourable again)
