Anyone running one of these suckers on their 4.5's? It has become a serious option for me and looks on paper to be a pretty good motor. Any reason to stay away from one of these ... apart from the Yamaha 60 EFI :)
Thanks

from the honda's i have seen i don't think you go wrong there, they run great and very good on fuel and can only be better with the blast technology for low down grunt.

Thanks Mate, appreciate the reply. Just to confuse matters the new Suzuki 60 has also entered the frame!!!!!!!!

i don't think there is to much difference between motors these days, to me it all comes down to the service offered by the dealer, and the main question to be asked is do I trust this mob to look after me when i buy from them.

Matt are you going tiller or wheel steer? If tiller stick with the Yamaha or Honda. If not, they're all good.
Cheers mate
Got a 50hp honda on VMR boat (4.5 stabicraft) which is pretty good. Guy at the yacht club has a 20hp honda 4stk, he left it tilted up in his cat (sailing type) and end up corroding out all the water galleries, even though he flushed it out all the time. Tip, put them down when not in use.
