Hi Guys, I am David Ireland, you may have seen my Wildlife Man TV series shown on Discovery Channel internationally or on Channel Nine in Australia. We have just begun filming a major feature film titled " Wild Australia" this feature length documentary will be shown worldwide in cinema chains by Optopixx USA. See: www.davidireland.com

The movie will take one year to produce as we travel the main Australian enviroments encountering a huge diversity of animals. Boating will be a major part of the movie, billabongs, rivers, creeks, off shore reefs etc. Fishing/spearfishing/hunting and filming will make the film action packed.

The boat we have chose for the rugged task is the Mac 570 Fisherman, Mac New Zealand are building the boat for us now. It will be powered by a Honda 135HP motor.

I have long been a fan of the Polycraft boats and had one for years in my films, but prefer the Mac design for my current films because of deck size, ride and protection for expensive camera gear.

Hope you all get to see my movie " Wild Australia" and best of luck to everyone on Polybaotowners Forum.
David Ireland

I am sure if you want so local info in the areas of filming, the boys here would only be too happy to point you in the right direction.

Hi David welcome mate
Maybe in some areas you could use a second boat from a local PBO. With safety and local knowledge always an advantage the poly would only enhance your Mac and the film.

Safe and happy travels around this great country of ours, hope to see you some time in the Top end.

Cheers Bones
