TAPA TALK - iPhone App

Couldn't find a better place for this Dave, so here will have to do.

It is an add on to the forum that users of the TApa Talk iPhone app can then very easily log on and keep in touch with the forum.

A couple of the photography forums I visit use it and it is great.

I have been thinking of upgrading to an Iphone since my Nokia N95 went for a little swim . . . . . . .

I might have to look into it if I get one.

You can also get the Marine Charts on the Iphone too.

Only iPhone and Android (whatever that is:rolleyes:) ATM but apparently Blackberry and Nokia versions are in the pipeline (expected around Feb 2010).

Hi Guys
Have installed tapatalk on iphone but it tells me this forum is temporarily closed I know its not cause I am using it at this very moment. I am able t connect to other forums ie Aust landrover owners without any problems. So are there any tricks to get this site to work using iphone and tapatalk?

I even went back to the "Search" feature in TapaTalk (edit: search for "Polyboatowners") and I was able to access the site from there (i.e. pre-login). Might have been a glitch at the time you tried, so I suggest trying again.

the site shows up but but says the forum is temp closed come back later yet AULRO works. tried deleting it from history and doing a search and could not find it do you know which category it is under?

All I did was type in "polyboat" (no space) and then selected the forum when it appeared in the search results. Edit: you don't even have to hit "Search" after you get as far as typing in "polyboat".

Must admit that I have never gone looking for it under Category (didn't know where to start). I just went straight to the "Search" function.
