The 5.3 is a top boat & at that price it should sell quick. If I wasnt in Tassie & already have a 5.3 I be up there to pick her up.

Hey paul why wait, i bought mine of a fella who waited till retirement & then had a stroke. What im getting at is im enjoying it now while i still can. No point in waiting & the banks wouldnt loan me the $ if i was retired

25K wow what a price ! Does that mean I paid too much for mine @ 27k ?? !! Can I ask a silly question, but why are these tubs so cheap compared to GRP and Ali? Is it a marketability thing?

Once you have a mould you can relatively easily punch out the boat or what ever you want. Dave has been through the Polycraft plant & would be able to shed some more light on how its done.

Trading mine in against a new Brumby I was only offered $18-20K by my local dealer. That's why I didn't proceed. The boat market is VERY depressed. Ask BF (altho he'll tell fibs - they all do!)

Hey Cflife,
Could you send me some photos. I might be interested in upgrading from my drifter (50hp suzie) to something that would enable me to get a but further out.

Can you tell me the weight of the BMT - figure empty is fine, I can work out fuel, ice etc.

My wife's first question was about the colour(?)

Thanks, Dozer.

looking at roughly 1650kg BMT total, maybe a little more being a front runner but thats about the ball park for the 5.3m (thats the listed weight for me CC)

Thanks Brucesta,
My Navara can only tow 1500kg with brakes. It always amazes me how the weight adds up.
