Hi all

Have finally sold my Bermuda Mangrove Deluxe. A boat which I owned from new for 10years. After looking around for the past couple of months have decided on a 4.10 polycraft (Open Boat). Has been absolute hell without a boat for the last couple of months. Had to spend 3 weeks at Forster over the Xmas period without one, and spent a fair bit of time spinning for Flathead and Whiting off the banks.

Looking to spend around the 10-12 mark on one with a 40 on it. Preferably a 4 stroke Yammie, E-Tec, or Honda. am willing to pay a bit more for extras / electrics, sounders etc...
Am open to any thoughts or opinions on this. Anyone in the know in regards to polys for sale would be much appreciated if you could let me know via this site / posting...

Welcome aboard Frosty.

I hope you can find a 4.1 there are quite a few about so they shouldnt be too hard to find.

Am not concerned if poly is only basic setup. As I have modifications I would like to do. An extension on the front casting deck with some more storage area underneath. Also an extension on the back to allow for a seating position with the extra handle length RE- 40 h.p. plus more storage.

Will do the sums on buying a brand new boat and trailer minus the motor. That way I may be able to do the modifications I have in mind then add a motor when I have finished ( might be able to wrangle a few extra bucks out of the missus by that stage). Just a few different ideas I have been tossing around...!!!

Mate look up Adventure Marine in batemans bay. They have a poly 4.1m open brand new with new trailer. Only have one left and its the yellow. They are very very good to deal with. They want $7200 which is a great price. They did have a white one but someone else just got that one ;)

Also keep an eye on ebay or boatpoint you will find they come and go pretty quick !
