I'm torn up between the two, i want something i will be happy with in the long run.

The boat will mainly be used with 2 people and sometimes maybe 3 in it.

Will the extra weight of the brumby make it more stable?

What layout is best to have the most fishing rooom, rcc, cc or sc?

I like the full transom of the brumby. seems like it will be safer for offshore, which i plan to do. But the extra price puts me off.

If i can get away with the 4.5 i will, as the cost is cheaper. Major difference, thinking long term.

Thanks in advance,

Rhys

Get the 4.8. Sell your missus into white slavery, send the kids down the coal mines, buy the 4.8.

Unbiased advice from an old phart.

HI Rhys

If you are already tossing up between boat sizes then go the bigger one. It doesnt matter how big the thing looks on the trailer they are all small when you get on the water. If you are thinking of going out side in bigger water you will not regret the choice.

I have managed to sneak my 5.3 across some shallow sand flats with about a foot of water.

Any of the CC layouts are great for fishing.

Good luck with you decision.

Rhys,

How did you go? Which one did you end up with?

Cheers
