5.99 with 140hp opinions

Had a question about the performance of a 5.99 fitted with a 140hp 4 stroke.

Any 5.99 owners have a similar set up and let me know how they go?

Can only tell you that I have the 530CC and 115 Suzuki and would swap the zuke for a 150 in a flash. I can imagine in a 599 you would have the whip into a 140 from whoa to go. I would think a 150 would be the smallest you might want on a boat that size and weight.

Don't do it. You'll be wanting more, definatly go a 150 at least. 175 would be the best option.
