First ever fishing trip in the new brumby = 10 macks. There were 9 spotted and this one spanish. This was on "Tsunami Sunday" - being out at sea in deeper water was probably the safest place, although the whole thing turned out to be a non-event.

Saw aprox 200 people standing on the seaway wall tsunami-watching on the way back in. God help us all if there is ever a "real" tsnuami event here. The over-sensationalized warning system (and the media) is desensitizing everyone to governmental warnings.

Good work Sweeden. The Pelagic's are having a ball at the moment. Do you ever fish the wall itself on the way out or back in? I'm pretty sure I've thrown a few surface lures around that canal in the picture.

I don't fish the seaway wall a lot mainly because the boat traffic takes away all the enjoyment I typically go fishing for in the first place (i.e. getting away from people). It's quite possible you've fished this canal, it's popular with the bream guys. There were some honking bream cleaning up the mack scraps.
