I was down at the water waiting for a boat (as I do a lot), and the women up at the staff quarters start frantically radioing me "Theres a giant snake in the pumpkin patch!!!" when I've finally done my work, I go up there and it's this little baby Amethestine Python, what a dude! So I relocated him to the sea side to save him from the ladies incessant badgering (it works for me!). If I have a bit of a sour look on my chops its because the poor little bugger kept pissing in me.

They're a lovely python. Generally docile, as that one appears. Wow it's skinny though.

Some years ago when I was living in Brisvegas on acreage, I had a beautiful python who lived in my house. Well, in the roof anyway. I named him Monty. He was 3.5 metres long (I measured him) and as thick as my upper arm. You could step over him on the front footpath and he would just look at you.

One wet morning I heard a knocking noise at the window next to the back door. The dogs went absolutely ape$hit. When I had a look, here was Monty knocking on the window with his nose. He had 'climbed' up onto a box near the door and raise himself up about a metre to reach the window. the smart bugger knew it was dry inside, and he wasn't the least bit scared of my two German Shepherds.

From time to time at night I used to hear a squealing sound from the front or side gardens. I guess it was just Monty having a feed on the local vermin. Funny enough, I never had a rat or mouse problem. Monty also used to go across the road and visit the neighbours, and never got run over somehow.

Unfortunately that led to his demise when a tree lopper cut him in half with a chainsaw. I nearly shot the bastard!!!!!!

sorry gents but i'm not a sanke man, too many dangerous ones up here not that i see them often but enough that they are never pythons but bloody gwadars and king browns. strangly enough as long as i see them before they see me it's all good and the pythons i don't mind but still send shivers down my spine.
