How good has the weather been of late,we have had 900mm of rain since xmas and would blow a dog off a chain.I know it is the wet season but I am over it,I need to go fishing(agro)(agro)(agro)

This was yesterday, we've had this all week. We've only had a few hundred mm of rain all year, the forest is going to be mighty dusty come July if it doesnt rain soon!

Giffo we have had heaps of rain and wind this year as well.
Last week I flew out to one of the islands and the ocean was glassed out the whole way. Next morning the wind came up and the sea looked like a washing machine.
Its a weird cycle of weather

We have been glassed out in Airlie for the last few days. I went to the reef Friday night and we bagged out on red throat and had to keep chucking them back. We also got some Nannygai but could only manage 1 Trout.

Pissing down here now, had over 100mm last night. Perfect, just in time for me to go back to work

We were chatting with a neighbor yesterday afternoon out here at Moorlands (near Moore Park Beach) Bundaberg.

He has a rain gauge and has recorded 1000 mm since beginning of January (not sure how precise his rain rain gauge is)

Ah well, we have just had two glorious days of blue sky, enough to allow me to get the mower out, but wet again today.
