Hey guy & gals, my names Gary and I am hanging out for delivery for my new 4.8 poly and etec with 75 pony's under the hood. Cant wait to post some pics and get rid of my 30 year old under powered & always need fixin glass boat. I not usually a forum kind a dude but this one seem different hope it stays that way. Buy the way did every one else get laughed at when they told there mates they was buying a poly hull?

Gday Gary and welcome.This is a good forum with a bit of shit stirring,mostly by a retired bloke in Noosa.When I purchased my poly in 2002, nobody had heard of plastic boats to laugh at me really.But as your mates are getting smacked around in their tinnies you will be very comfy.

Personality traits : good at shit stirring, not bad at light fires and putting them out I spose), picked out white for a colour (cos I wanted the rest of the boat to look like the live box lids, why Mr Polycraft ?) and I have been "envied" all my life. lOl.

Welcome to the plastic fantastic brigade :)

What colour 4.8 have you ordered, and what deck config, if its coming out of the workshops here in Bundaberg I can give you a heaps up of when its outta the mould.

Still waiting on my 5.3 front runner, gotta be close now, though there is a 5.3 FR with black stripes sitting in the yard there at present (mine will have dark blue stripes)

Got the call the "Brumby from Bundy" made down here south of the border today! So the good people down at Golden Seal Marine in Mordialloc have just got to throw her Etec saddle over her hind quarters and we are away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
