My new 4.5 open

Hey guys I finally got my new 4.5 about a week ago, after about a 7 week wait. took it out the first week end we had it and it went great. The weather has been ordinary since so have got on to some mods. This is my first ever boat, thus these are the first mods I have ever tried.

Welcome to the world of Poly Jeb, get some carpet over the hatches and she will look sweet as. I was going to just fill the middle section in on the rear deck but did not feel that stable rocking from side to side with the poly inserts moving around a bit .. in the process of doing full ply decks front and rear. Should have my boat up on the site next week sometime. Have fun at Hervey Bay.

I'm impressed to say the least, and the idea for the carpet is a good one as the plastic can get very slippery

Great stuff Jeb, thats a sweet looking rig!! I am currently itching for my new vessel so I can imagine the joy you got taking it out for the first time. Good on you!!
