Finally have rehashed this boat to meet my requirements, considerable modifications and enhancements to the vessel had been carried out by the previous owner, however everyone has their own personal slant on things.

Picture 1: Relocated Minn Kota 55AP on manufactured base fixing plate

Picture 2: Extended front casting deck

Picture 3: Bow live tank with water inlet and drain to boat exterior

Picture 4: Bow kill tank, currently used for life jacket storage

Picture 5: Port casting deck rear well, contains trolling motor battery and circuit breaker switch

Picture 6: Starboard casting deck rear well, contains live well pump and CD player

Picture 7: Casting deck rear wells open, centre unit has facility for tackle storage

Picture 8: Trolling motor solar charging panel and Evinrude 50HP Etec

Both live and kill tank wells are drained to rear bilge well via 20mm PVC pipe. Marine ply floor has been installed to cover piping and provide flat working surface.

Casting deck extension is supported on a welded aluminium angle iron and box section frame. Frame is screwed to inner lining and floor.

Anyone requiring further details on hardware fitted, pls contact me.

well done mate it looks the duck's nuts! they are such a great size to mod and the options are endless. I will own a 4.1 again some day when i have enough coin to justify a offshore boat and a creek boat.

how does the live tank go? does it keep your fish alive. Just the shape dosnt seem ideal. Im trying to do a setup in my 4.5

Very early days only had a 350mm Bass in the tank to date, she wasnt compromised by the adventure. Multiple and larger fish may be an issue, think aeration of the tank is the most important factor.
