Probably a dumb question, so forgive please :)

At the stern of my 5.3 there are two compartments, on the starboard side is what I think a baitwell for keeping baut fish alive.

How does it work ? i.e. how to get water in and stay there, or do I just fill it with a bucket?

Fill it with a bucket.

The top hole in the side it its over flow & pull the bung out to empty.

You could hook up a small pump to keep refreshing the water

the tight arses at polycraft don't plumb them up with a pick-up from the sea so you can keep refreshing it. something you'll have to do yourself

I think the wells are for drink cans and not bait Mad_Dad lol. Just fitted this bait tank on the pod of our 5.3 but haven't been out to test it yet

cheers Poly,

I am not overly fussed, as I intend to mainly use plastics and hardbodies, but if I catch a couple of small ones could be useful

hmm, though drink cooler, soft drinks of course, would be handy there

easily fits a block of cans when they are crushed up, makes a good bin when you're fishing.
