And I suppose half of Bundaberg was razed to the ground while you're out there showing off?

Nice going Giffo, you're really having a crack at the fishing lately, and doing great. It will probably be months before I get out again. :(

What is the point of owning a boat if you don't use it,I did offer to come to Noosa and use yours Doug. And show you how to catch fish yippyyippy

We went out tonight about 5 miles but all fish just undersize,we chased for about 30 mins what we thought was a huge Cobia, but turned out to be a turtle. The ocean was like a swimming pool and the water was clear as gin,I have not seen it that flat in ages.

Sunday morn is the next trip, fingers crossed.

I have done the exact same thing Giffo... had a monster on a 6lb rod, chased it for half an hour through the slop in 25+ kn winds. then he popped up and it was a little hawks bill turtle. Nuggety little bugger pulled like a freight train.

Tasted just like a goanna raised on cat food....

Only joking, if anything I probably added years to his life. The local kids up here chase them around with spears on the weekends if the weather is good, I recon that little fella will stay well clear of people for the rest of his days.
