4.50 Steering

I am in the process of ordering a 4.50 Centre console and am wondering what the standard steering is like? Is it non feedback? Is there enough room in the splashwell to fit hydraulic steering?

i have a 4.55 with a bullhorn hydraulic steering setup. it fits fine and makes it really nice to drive. I had a 30hp years ago on a tinny with a rubbish steering setup and it was bloody dangerous at times withthe motor torquing itself to one side. go the hydraulic. expensive but nice

I have the standard steering ... no complaints here. It is non feedback and seems to respond upon request. I've not felt the Hydraulic steering so can't really comment on that.
