Had reason to locate the Hull Identification Number on my 4.1 Challenger today and spent some time doing so.
For those that may be faced with the same chore, the number is stamped into the rear of the transom on the starboard side. Fairly small text makes it difficult for those of us that are sight disadvantaged to see, a coat of the text with a felt pen and removal of the surface ink assists.
