Unfortunately, sometimes you have to move backward before you can move foreward.

I sold my reef tinny the other day, and the new brumby is under construction, I needed something to satisfy my addiction until it gets here that I can stick on the roof of my car as Im heading up the cape in a couple of weeks.

It floats, it doesnt take too much water, and it only cost $200.

But it looks like a crushed XXXX can.

The pic doesnt do it justice, unfortunately the scenery was a little too artistic looking at the time to get a good pic, but you get the idea from the inside

Looks like the anchor rope is not rotten, and the quick welding job on the front seat looks schmick:eek::eek:.You gotta find the good points on a $200 boat.I have a 1962 DE Havilland Sea Otter that I paid $200 for and it floats.

Keith once the brumby is delivered you can fill the $200 one with concrete and use it as a mooring for over nighters...

Are you kidding:eek:!!! With all the money I've spent on Ferope to get it up to the standard it is now. I recon up here I'll be able to get at least $202 maybe even $202.50 for it when I have finished with it:rolleyes:.

We aren't all rich ambos zipping around on personal watercraft Davedoh

I think Keith and his new boat are perfectly matched - old, battered, covered in barnacles and worth about a hundred bucks just for the scrap value.

You're right there Doug, I do like cheap, banged up old crusty stuff.

Thats why I like you so much!

or put multiple holes in it, sink it and make it your own artificial reef!

Keithy P,

I'm going to have to come up for a fishing session when I move back to Cairns, should do a double boat trip if you're keen?

I have some spots for around the tip as I lived up there for two years, lmk when you are going and I'll give you some tips.

The truth slipped out in the chat room one night that Doug came here on a convict barge, courtesy of a loaf of bread he stole. (and for all them murders what he done) (FYI if you say murder with a Scottish accent...it sounds like..mudder)

Ruggish! I came here to bale out the Australian Air Force who didn't have any gasmen. Trouble was, that when I went to go home, the RAF had replaced me with an LACW half a day a week, and they didn't want me back. Buggers still owe me four flights back 'ome.

I deny stealing the bread, and the murders were all just little mistakes with the blue gas. The courts let me off with a warning about drinking before breakfast.
