Well, Ive done it!
I applied Sharkhide protectant to the out side of our recent acquisition, a 5.3 Front Runner!
This is destined to be added to our small fleet of hire boats here on Nelson Bay.
The whole job from start to finish took approximately 15 minutes and used around 250ml of product.
Cost wise was about $20.00 (Sharkhide)plus $6.00 for a roller / tray from Bunnings!
The boat is destined to be fitted with a 115 (black curse) and should make for interesting challenges if nothing else!
This will be the first and so far the only high horse power vessel for hire in Port Stephens, yes there are other boats, but none are moored ready to hire 7x days a week!

The pics attached show the "shine" that we ended up with, apposed to the usual dull satin finish of poly?
Now it takes on a gloss look very similar to fiberglass! Very impressed to say the least!

There are a couple of you Gents whom were going to do your own "trials" on fiber glass and even some dull plastic owners!
Get to work gentlemen, I need your feed back!
Feel free to visit www.sharkhidesalesaustralia.com.au (http://www.sharkhidesalesaustralia.com.au) for additional information or sales.
I also need to get some much needed sales, so endorsements and recommendations are most welcome!

Thought I would post this update on the recent 5.3 Warrior.
So far the shine has not dulled off at all.
Still looks like great, no signs of peeling or de-laminating.

The trial panels I have been using have shown no signs of dulling off and some of these are now 24months in trial.
Two panels I have on the roof of my work shop have no signs of deterioration after 24 months in the elements, rain/sun/wind.
These trials include two of our 4.5 Drifter in service as hire craft at "Soldiers Point Boat Hire".
The two hulls are still shining after sometimes wash-down twice a day!
Broomed with detergent every second day and still no dulling off!
Water-line marks hose off, this includes that annoying slime-line that seems to gather just below the water-line you get when docked for a while in the salt!
Minimal rubbing where the fenders are located, may need to re-apply in these high friction/traffic areas in time to come, however not for several more months yet.

I have no hesitations in recommending Sharkhide for your Poly boats!
As the Australian Distributor for Sharkhide It would be irresponsible of me to endorse a product that did not perform to the standards we demand!

I only sell or supply products I have either used personally or utilize in our own business's!
This way, I have confidence the products work it's that simple!

I have supplied the folk at Polycraft Boats with Sharkhide Protectant and they are conducting their own trials as we speak.
We look forward to their endorsement of Sharkhide Protectant in the very near future!

For now, if you want your Poly boat to look like a million dollars give it a lick of "Sharkhide Protectant" you wont be dissapointed!
