Well, Ive done it!
I applied Sharkhide protectant to the out side of our recent acquisition, a 5.3 Front Runner!
This is destined to be added to our small fleet of hire boats here on Nelson Bay.
The whole job from start to finish took approximately 15 minutes and used around 250ml of product.
Cost wise was about $20.00 (Sharkhide)plus $6.00 for a roller / tray from Bunnings!
The boat is destined to be fitted with a 115 (black curse) and should make for interesting challenges if nothing else!
This will be the first and so far the only high horse power vessel for hire in Port Stephens, yes there are other boats, but none are moored ready to hire 7x days a week!
The pics attached show the "shine" that we ended up with, apposed to the usual dull satin finish of poly?
Now it takes on a gloss look very similar to fiberglass! Very impressed to say the least!
There are a couple of you Gents whom were going to do your own "trials" on fiber glass and even some dull plastic owners!
Get to work gentlemen, I need your feed back!
Feel free to visit www.sharkhidesalesaustralia.com.au (http://www.sharkhidesalesaustralia.com.au) for additional information or sales.
I also need to get some much needed sales, so endorsements and recommendations are most welcome!
