I voted "I dont read them but snigger at your time wasting efforts!" cause the poll looked it needed some balance.

I do read them, but maybe leave them open to comment. I spotted the one about splicing to chain the other day but I noticed they neglected to mention that you should use a thimble to prevent the rope from wear.

Yes, Andy, I wanted to say the same thing. I also wanted to comment on the statistics produced by Maritime Safety Qld, but Mr High and Mighty Admin closed the threads before the common people (never mind Gentlemen) get to sully them with their thoughts. It's not a democratic site this one, y'know.

BOTM.. well I have been asking but no one wants to volunteer their boat... oops i remembered there is one member who I have to send Q's to but thats the only one for months now... I need you help as well to run the site... I am lazy I aint doing it all myself..
