I have a 2007 60 HP Yammy 4 stroke High Thrust. It came with a 131/2 x 15K prop on it ,the motor was one of a pair off a 6m cat.The boat performs ok at the moment but just wondering if one of these would make it better.I have been give to try, 2 new Yammy props. One is 11 1/4 x14G the other is a 11 1/8 x13G.Does anyone have any thoughts on how this affect my boat.I don't have a Tacho as yet (still trying to get it off the bloke who had the motor). So with no tacho, the difference it will be by sound and feel.

You really need the tacho Giffo.
It's pretty straight forward, just get the maximum RPM from the owners book (which I have no doubt is still in the possession of the previous owner along with the tacho) laugh1
The max RPM will be expressed in terms of a range e.g.6,000 to 6,500 rpm
All you need to do is prop your motor so it peaks somewhere within that range at full noise. (with your usual load and number of passengers on board)
