at Cabelas.com

I got some Williamson knife jigs (not their actual) very very cheap, about 1/4 of what I would pay here. Including some glow in the dark jigs that I'm keen to try out up north in red country.

Also got some Kalin Big N Grub lead heads, including two at 4oz and some 30cm plastic tails (for slow trolling for barra, fingermark, trout). they seem quite strong (the tails) so I'll be very interested to see how they hold up... at least until the razor gang show up! The jig heads were only USD$2.00 or so. bargain...

Will post pics if anyone is interested.

I would be interested to see some pics Nick, I bought some large cheap knife jigs a while back (400g). I didn't have any luck on them, but then I didn't give em much of a chance either. You would think something would eat them as they look the goods
Cheers.

ok, they are 10" tails, about 20cm with the tail curl. USD$6

here are the two knife-jig sizes i got. 400g is the larger one. they were all USD4.79 each, so about A$6 approximately, much better than the $20+ some tackle stores want for them.

12oz jig-head for trolling those big tails, or maybe bouncing off the bottom around Cooktown, will see and smaller jig heads (3oz) with plenty of weight for 7" to 8" tails. 12oz and 3oz were a paltry USD$1.99 each.

i got a couple hundred of the Cabelas soft plastics too (not shown), they were dirt cheap and want to try them with varying scents. 4" for jacks and barra etc.

i'll do a review of the knife jigs when i get up north, they seem about the same quality as others I've bought for a lot more in the past though.

postage was USD$20 and only took a week via surface post, so unsure how that works...but it was fast so no complaints here.
