Hi everyone,

Just joined the site and from what i have seen there is plenty of useful info on here. I live in Perth W.A and polycraft boats are hard to come by over here. I am looking to purchase one as soon as i find the boat that I am looking for. Looking to purchase a 4.5m either centre console or front runnner with 4 stroke engine on the back. Ideally something only a few years old but they are few and far between over this neck of the woods. Will purchase new if i have to but would rather not.

If anyone on here has one they are thinking of upgrading or could recommend a place that they have bought one from i would really appreciate it.

Have the cash ready to go just need to find something over this side of Australia (seem to be plenty on offer over in Queensland and Vic)

Thanks for reading and keep the post's comming

G'daay, and welcome to the site

You will find plenty of good info on here, plenty of god blokes too.

You may have to be a little patient over there to find a second hand 4.5 (Are you chasing a 450 or a 455??) as like you said there doesn't seem to be many over that way. There a few members on here who have poly's up karratha way though.

Cheers
Mitch

we play with the big poly's up here, i have a 5.3m Centre Console that may interest you which wouls push my need for a bigger boat along. it does have an Etec but thats a good thing not a bad thing. You will struggle to find many over here as W.A is plate alloy heaven and just the lack of dealers over here.

Welcome also.

Doug, Mitch was refering to the the king like men that call the western seaboard home, always seem to be posting the pics of the fish, being top blokes etc I'm suprised you made such a fundamental error doug :)

a few of the W.A. boys have found it works out cheaper to buy new here on the east coast and have the boats sent over, send Glenn (BigFella) a p.m. he may be able to get on to a good second hand one or give you a sharp price on a new outfit, its worth a try
