How long did you troll for him, and how long did you need to work him?

trolled around 2hrs, total day 9 hrs going for mackies but the billies went off-this one though i cast the lure at -saw him working a bait school
2 blacks 3 saillies landed -well next to boat-numerous mackies but me being the skipper the other bloke(deckie) landed the other billies
one a 550 lb black tagged and recorded got the " tale of the tape photo to make it official here somewhere- 3.5hr fight 42 mins to get him to swim -this was on a proper big 25 kg game outfit tho

this one took about 40 mins to land (10kg line on a 6kg rod) and swam well after tagging
if u want to know more - u ll have to come with
ahhh and before u ask where-- well if u fly over i ll go show u WA's secret spot
