Having purchased a second hand package im looking at replacing the prop.
I have what i think is a late 90's 60 2 stroke on a 4.55 CC. The prop has been damaged and repaired previously.

The engine only revs to 5200rpm and redline is 5500rpm.
I would have thought the engine would reach its rev limiter (if propped correctly)
I havent removed the prop to check pitch etc.

So just posing the question to what props work best.

I removed the prop today.
Mine has a 13" x 19 pitch prop.
Im not sure what effect the 19 degree pitch has but can only guess that it would be harder to turn than a smaller pitch.
Potentially given less performance?????
Think its time for a new prop.
