This type of contraption may have already been made and posted in the past. But in the light of yachtytec’s post on beach launching I thought it might help those with less than ideal launching conditions. I made this a few years back when first having problems launching the boat, lubricating the slides fixed the problem.

As you can see it will both lift and push the boat back on the trailer, it does not need a roller at the end, anything that will not dig into the hull will do.
It could be made longer so the effect is greater.

So there you go,… I suppose I should give it a name. “The polyfrank windup poly launcher mark 1”. Patent pending!

Was your trailer always a tilt trailer??? I have never seen one under a Polycraft

Yes it was a tilt trailer from new Pirate Pete. Never used it as I launch from regular boat ramps.

Mate that's a beauty! I like it, I like it a lot! Might even save the back end of the patrol from getting the occassional salt water bath.

Glad it’s of use JenoNT. I don’t know if all boat ramps are of the same angle, but this particular day it was a real struggle to get the boat off the trailer. So I made this.

Anyway it works really well, it will lift the front of the boat up and away she goes. Only ever used it once, but then if I forget to keep the slides lubricated it’s always there.
