Hey all.
I have been looking for these buggers for a year and I have finally got a guy to buy a stock so I can get some. I am talking about Snap Toggles. Many of you may say you have seen them before but these are now in Stainless Steel. The bow rail screws come loose after constant vibration and people hanging of them so I needed something strong to hold the rail. but with no way to put a nut on the back (closed cell) I was stuck. After a release of a DVD for Triumph boat it showed the Stainless toggles used for holding all types of thing like Downriggers & Antennas etc. http://allthingsstainless.com.au now has them in a M6 and will soon have bigger range coming. The other advantage with these is after installation you can remove the bolt and the toggle stays in place. A plastic collar locks in place and keeps it there. I have a pic of the toggle & if I am incorrect and someone else sells these in Stainless & in Australia, LET us all know.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks Mark.

Great way of securing anything in the poly if you need it strong and screws just wont hold properly

On second thoughts, time to get the spoon out if a supplier in the U.S won't ship to here ..... An australian distributer wants $185 per 25 without screws ... anyone buy any of these ... want to offload 4?

Thanks
Matt

Interesting site, Drifter. Have you used it? The prices seem very similar to what you'd pay ordering it yourself, but it might be useful for getting things that you can't order yourself, which is what we're talking about with those toggles.

no mate, friends have used it, yes you can order things that you can't normally order and need a USA address to order, enjoy!

Snaptoggles available - thanks for the info Mark.
I recently used these to mount a Windline stainless steel telescopic rear boarding ladder on a 530 C/C. THey did a great job which would have been very difficult otherwise.

allthingsstainless.com.au have the M6 Snaptoggles available again - they are not listed on their website but can be obtained from Luke Tonkin on their direct sales number 0414 266 624.
