Finally the pimp is on the water spent time getting driving on the trailer right then did the very boring running in got to 6 hours and had to give her a squirt AND WOW.
Think I need a larger prop as the revs went to 6000 and I backed off did notice the it listed to port quite a bit, but only on full noise, so will change the skeg diode which was factory set hard right. Getting sx smart tabs today as well, will fit and test again.
Sounder/ Gps is great and live bait tank works a treat.All in all I LOVE it.Look out fish.

very nice looking rig there Karl. Once you master that drive on bit you'll never look back. I even drove mine off for the first time the other day due to the fact it was only myself, the mrs and our little 16 month old Dakota and no issues, it just shows if you are set up right, launching and retrieving can be a one man job.

I had that problem with over revving Karl. The motor would rev up to 6300 rpm and start to play up at that point, it’s a 4 stroke so I assume it was valve bounce. If I remember correctly BigFella recommended I talk to Salas. Which I did and purchased a stainless 4 blade prop that they recommended. It’s still sitting in the garage at the moment and will get fitted on the motor next service. Will post the results.

Could be the rev limiter kicking in Polyfrank.

poly frank saw steve from solas today we are putting a 4 blade stainless on and going for a test on wednesday so we see what happens

Didn’t know there was a rev limiter chin. Good to hear you are getting expert help Karl, let us know how it goes. Did I say Salas instead of Solas, tut tut. Salas is something you eat! Or is it salad or salsa!
