Warrior CC in 4.5 drifter?

Hi Guys - Bloke on Ausfish is looking to put a warrior CC in a drifter....he cant register here atm for some reason, so told him id put the quest. up here for him.....pretty sure I remember someone on here did the same thing?(Could have been a brumby CC though):

Anyways, his question:

I am looking at buying a used polycraft 4.50 centre console, and would like to convert the console to the much wider console from the 5.30 or 5.99 poly. I don't know if this would be too wide for the 4.50 wich has a beam of 1.99m as opposed to the 2.4m beam on the 5.30 and 2.5m beam on the 5.99. I am willing to squeeze by the console, as long as i am still able to acess the front of the 4.50.

Is the wider console in the larger boats part of the hull mould, or is it detachable?
Anyone out there willing to do some mesurments for me?

I would expect if nothing else he could put it in as a side console.

The console I am sure is a bolt in affair.I made my console out of ally, as 9 years ago the larger ones were not available.Mine goes to the edges of the bolt in floor panels and I am happy with it size wise.I did do a build thread on here for it.

Hi all, I'm here at last.
Great CC there Giffo, you certainly have put a lot of forthought into it, esp to get the throttle recessed and working.

The more I look at the 5.3 cc into the 4.,5 the more I think I may have to make a custom console to suit my needs. The plan is to get 2 people behind it and out of the weather while underway. But let's face it we'll cop some weather anyway, but the less the better.

Anyway, the 5.3 cc may still fit and be an easier option,.. we'll see. Looking forward to your comments.
